Fast Slim Body chooses every year a winner to receive a prize of 2,500$ for writing an essay about a healthier future.

This year's competition theme is obesity, participants must write an essay of 1000 to 1500 words on the topic “What is the largest contributing cause of obesity in the United States, and what can be done on a societal and individual level to reverse the growing obesity trend in the United States?”. An internal committee will decide on the best written essay. All decisions are final and are subject to the discretion of FastSlimBody.com. The following factors will be considered in determining the winner:

[1] Demonstrated understanding of the issue raised.

[2] Originality.

[3]Quality of Writing.

The winner will receive a one-time monetary payment of the $2,500 (Two thousand five hundred dollars) scholarship to be applied to qualified expenses, including tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board for the applicable academic year.

Note: There is no entry fee or purchase necessity to enter this competition.

Applicants must:

[1] Be undergraduate or graduate students of an accredited university or college.

[2] Be at least 18 years old.

[3] Publish their essay online publicly. This can be a student blog on their university website, their own website, or a blog platform like blogger.com

[4] Include at least 4 links citing authoritative sources on obesity, when submitting their essay.
