Win up to 10,000 L.E in the Competition of the Creative Ideas for Egyptians

Everybody Can is inviting all people from Egypt to participate in “Everybody Can” competition that works to empower persons of all abilities by giving them the chance to showcase their ideas among an entrepreneurial network of practitioners and facilitators. Applicants get the chance to present their ideas in front of local and international entities. Finalists get the chance to attend a two-day bootcamp with tailored training and workshops while winners get the chance to implement and grow their ideas through getting free-equity financial prizes. 

Eligibility

Applicants with or without disabilities are encouraged to apply for the competition and share their need-based targeted services and products that support the disability-inclusive development efforts.

Criteria

Everybody Can is welcoming ideas in their early stages with and without prototypes, in one of these fields: Hospitality، Tech-Automation, Fin Tech,  IoT، Health-Wellness & Pharma Environment; Green Tech & Sustainability,Social Development, Art & Culture, Supply Chain & Logistics, Media, Communication & Entertainment, Textile & Apparels, Food & Beverage, FMCG, according to the following aspects:

• Disability Inclusion: an idea that offers a solution that helps the differently abled community to be more involved in the process, solve a challenge or serve them in any way.
• Sustainability: relevant and sustainable ideas.
• Social Impact: the power to make a positive social change and can contribute to flourishing community.

Prize

1. The first-place winner gets 100,000 Egyptian pounds.
2. The second-place winner gets 50,000 Egyptian pounds.
3. The third-place winner gets 40,000 Egyptian pounds.

Competition Timeline

• After closing the applications phase, the filtration process starts to scan the applications. Ideas will be measured if they meet the chosen criteria in which 13 ideas/teams will be chosen to attend the bootcamp in Alexandria and enjoy a tailored trainings and workshops in order to develop their skills.
• 13 teams representing 13 ideas will all gather on the final day of the competition, in Alexandria, to do one last pitch for their ideas. Only 3 winners will be chosen to receive financial prizes.

Everybody Can is an organization that aims for an inclusive society that is able to accommodate differences, value diversity and ensure that people who are differently abled are included with their valuable information in the development efforts. “Everybody Can” competition was launched by GEN Egypt/MCSBE in collaboration with the U.S. CONSULATE in Alexandria and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherland in Cairo.
