The Arab Theater Institute organizes the 12th edition of the Theatrical Script-Writing <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Competitions-and-Awards" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Competition&nbsp;</a>for Children (under the age of 18) for the year 2019, within the framework of the cultural and artistic program established by the Arab Theater Institute, and to motivate Arab playwrights from young people to the age of thirty-five. This year&#39;s competition has been devoted to texts that fall within the framework of &quot;Children of today, tomorrow&#39;s youth and our future, the new makers&quot;. Texts that interact with the present, especially the social part of it and open the horizon of the future, texts that contribute to build the personality of the child through positive dramas of the child&#39;s personality in the texts composed; this competition is addressed to the age group 6 to 18 years old.&nbsp;<h3>Eligibility Criteria:&nbsp;</h3>The texts submitted to the contest must meet the following criteria:<ul><li>The nominated text is based on the theme adopted by the Arab Theater Institution for the year 2019: (orientation (Children of today, tomorrow&#39;s youth and our future, the new makers).</li><li>The nominated text is new, has not win in another contest, has never participated in the competition itself and has never been published or presented in a play.</li><li>The text must be written in the standard Arabic language.</li><li>The text writer should specify the target age group for this text, and the texts that do not specify the target group will not be accepted.</li><li>That text should not be a monodrama.</li><li>The text of the play should be printed in Word format with Arial 14 format and with a distance not exceeding 1.15 and sent by e-mail to <a href="mailto:Scriptaward@atitheatre.ae" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Scriptaward@atitheatre.ae</a>.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Prizes:&nbsp;</h3>The Arab Theater Institute awards three prizes as follows:<ul><li>First Place: $5,000&nbsp;</li><li>Second Place: $4,000&nbsp;</li><li>Third Place: $3,000</li><li>The Arab Theater Institute will award the silver icon to the winners.</li></ul><h3>Notes:</h3><ul><li>The Arab Theater Institute has the right to publish the winning texts of the competition in its publications.</li><li>Printing and publishing the winning texts by their owners or parties other than the Arab Theater Institute before the passage of 3 years from the announcement of the results of the competition is not permitted.</li></ul>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Grants">grants</a> on For9aSee more available<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Residencies-and-Exchange-Programs">&nbsp;exchange programs</a> on For9aSee more available&nbsp;<a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Events-Festivals-and-Conferences">events and conferences</a>&nbsp;on For9a
