The Arab Theater Institute organizes the 12th edition of the Theatrical Script-Writing Competition for Adults (over the age of 18) for the year 2019, within the framework of the cultural and artistic program established by the Arab Theater Institute, and to motivate Arab playwrights from young people to the age of thirty-five. This year&#39;s competition has been devoted to texts that fall within the framework of &quot;We write today&#39;s texts for&nbsp;tomorrow&quot;, where these texts are engraved in the present and the past, emphasizing the positive role of mankind in making progress and change.<h3>Eligibility Criteria:&nbsp;</h3>The texts submitted to the contest must meet the following criteria:<ul><li>The nominated text is based on the theme adopted by the Arab Theater Institution for the year 2019: (orientation (we write today&#39;s texts for tomorrow).</li><li>The nominated text is new, has not win in another contest, has never participated in the competition itself and has never been published or presented in a play.</li><li>That text should not be a monodrama.</li><li>The text must be written in the standard Arabic language, in no less than (15) pages printed in Arial 14 and with a distance not exceeding 1.15.</li><li>The text of the play should be printed in Word format and sent by e-mail to <a href="mailto:Scriptaward@atitheatre.ae" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Scriptaward@atitheatre.ae</a>.</li></ul><h3>Notes:</h3><ul><li>For the attention of the coordinator of the Theatrical Script-Writing Competition.</li><li>The applicant must write the name of the author and the title of the text in the Subject field in the e-mail, and send the required text and documents in one e-mail.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Prizes:&nbsp;</h3>The Arab Theater Institute awards three prizes as follows:<ul><li>First Place: $5,000.</li><li>Second Place: $4,000.</li><li>Third Place: $3,000.</li><li>The Arab Theater Institute will award the silver icon to the winners.</li></ul>The Arab Theater Institute has the right to publish the winning texts of the competition in its publications.Printing and publishing the winning texts by their owners or parties other than the Arab Theater Institute before the passage of 3 years from the announcement of the results of the competition is not permitted.See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Grants">grants</a> on For9aSee more <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships">scholarships</a> available on For9aSee more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Events-Festivals-and-Conferences">events and conferences</a> on For9a
