applications are now open for our second workshop of 2018 in none other than Amman, Jordan. DATA4CHAN.GE brings talented people in the visual storytelling community together with civil society organisations that have fascinating original datasets and powerful stories to tell.
There are three categories to choose from:
[1] Team Leaders.
[2] Civil Society Organisations.
[3] Creative Teams.
DATA4CHAN.GE covers travel and accommodation expenses for all international participants (although participants are responsible for purchasing their own travel insurance). International participants are also provided a modest per diem to cover additional in-country expenses such as taxis and food.
During our workshops interdisciplinary teams consisting of data researchers, coders, UX designers, graphic designers and civil society organisations (CSOs) create data visualizations and devise innovative advocacy strategies. DATA4CHAN.GE is a workshop where CSO and the creative sector can collaborate to create data visualizations aimed at elevating public engagement and effective advocacy, which in turn could bring about real positive change
