World Summit Awards for Young Entrepreneurs 2018

The World Summit Awards (WSA) invite young innovators and entrepreneurs under 30 years of age with projects that leave an impact on the world and improve society using Information and Communications Technology to participate in the competition for 2018. Categories include:

[1] Government and Citizen Engagement

[2] Health and Well Being

[3] Learning and Education

[4] Environment and Green Energy

[5] Culture and Tourism

[6] Smart Settlements and Urbanization

[7] Business and Commerce

[8] Inclusion and Empowerment

Rules and conditions:

[1] The competition is open to any company, organization or individual in any UN and UNESCO member state

[2] The participation in the WSA Young Innovators is restricted to any entrepreneur, company, student group or project team, where at least one of the founding members and the majority of the team is  under the age of 30 (born on or after January 1, 1988)

[3] All submitted products must have been completed after January 1, 2016. For a project or product completed earlier, the submitters have to document significant alterations and/or improvements and/or additions that have been made in the period thereafter

[4] The awards are strictly restricted to digital applications with a strong impact on society

[5] A product can only be submitted for one category. In case of multiple submissions by the same organization, company or team, each product requires a separate registration

[6] The interface of the products can be in any of the United Nations official languages. All producer and project information in the must, however, be in English. The official language of the Awards is English and must be used in all official communication
