Writing Residency Program for African Women to Uganda

Femrite is offering the opportunity for African women writers that are also currently living in Africa to be part of its residency program in Kampala, Uganda. Those who are interested in applying must be a female writer who is working on a novel or memoir manuscript, writes in English and hasn’t published more than one book.
The program will include: participating in peer reviewing of work(s)-in-progress,  receiving feedback from mentors, participating  in a public reading, sharing information on writing, and working with selected schools to start reading and writing projects.
