Opportunity description
Are you a secondary school student interested in leadership? The Yale Young African Scholars Program (YYAS) is an academic leadership program that targets African secondary school students who have the talent, energy, and ideas to make meaningful impacts as young leaders, even before they begin their university studies.
YYAS brings together students from across Africa in this cost-free seven-day program in which they will attend lectures led by prominent Yale faculty, seminars developed by Yale student instructors and will engage in robust intellectual exchanges that are crucial to understanding Africa’s most pressing challenges and opportunities.
