The Jordanian Ministry of Youth, in partnership with The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) (In English: German Corporation for International Cooperation GmbH) in Jordan represented by the regional project “Social Participation and Youth Participation in Local Communities”, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is organizing a conference on youth participation in local communities entitled: “Learning And dialogue and exchange of knowledge about youth social participation and community participation in Jordan and Lebanon” on 9 November 2021 – 11 November 2021 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Amman.
Benefits
This conference will represent a unique opportunity for young activists to exchange knowledge about youth social participation and community participation in Jordan and Lebanon, in addition to an opportunity for knowledge exchange between civil society organizations and the Ministry of Youth. Portions of the National Youth Strategy will also be presented and discussed by representatives from the Jordanian Ministry of Youth. The conference will also include a group of youth art workshops and a group of live artistic performances during the three days of the conference.
