Activity Details:

In 2022, the European Union declared "The Year of Youth" and called for the engagement and participation of all young talents to help build a better future: "A stable, green, inclusive, and digital future." To raise awareness of the EU's commitment to contributing to a better future for youth and to support more robust youth participation, the European Neighborhood – South program launched an initiative called: EU JEEL CONNECT.

The network includes countries and regions in the Southern Neighbourhood, such as Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, and Palestine. Participation in this network is voluntary and does not entail any financial commitments, providing an opportunity to connect with selected activists from various fields. The network's activities are non-political, non-partisan, and non-profit.

The network will bring together youth from different cultures to participate in enriching experiences aimed at communication, engagement, and learning. Members will be encouraged to engage with local communities and help them understand the aspects of cooperation between the EU and member countries by showcasing the tangible results and significance of this cooperation for youth.
