In this opportunity, you will join an exciting reading group with Janet Pilotto that will explore the role of nostalgia in the United Arab Emirates through a selection of insightful and distinctive reads.

• Janet will guide you in this opportunity through a series of thought-provoking texts, which delve into the relationship between nostalgia, memory, and social history.
• Drawing on her extensive experience as an artist and researcher, Janet will help you unpack the complex ways in which nostalgia shapes our perceptions of the past, present and future, and its impact on our spatial and temporal understanding of the UAE.
