Aesthetica magazine announces an online creative writing competition, which will give the winners the chance to win £2,500.
Benefits
- The total value of the competition prizes is 5,000 pounds sterling, divided into:
- £2,500 to the winner of the poetry competition.
- £2,500 to the winner of the short novel competition.
- Winning works will be published in Aesthetica, the annual creative writing magazine.
- The winner of the novel competition will receive a five-day course from Arvon.
- The winner of the novel contest will receive a six-week short story writing course from Curtis Brown Creative.
- The winner of the poetry competition will receive two online master classes with Arvon.
- The winner of the poetry competition will receive a six-week course in poetry writing from Curtis Brown Creative, and will also receive full membership in the Poetry Society, and a course from the poetic school.
- Winners will receive a one-year print subscription to Granta.
- Winners will receive a one-year digital subscription to Mslexia.
- Winners will receive full membership in Litopia.
- Winners will receive a one-year deluxe subscription to London Magazine.
Eligibility criteria
- Poetry entries must not exceed 40 lines.
- Novels must be no more than 2,000 words.
- Published works or participation in other competitions can apply to this competition.
- Your submission can be about any topic.
- You can enter the competition with any number of entries, but you will need to fill out a new application form and pay the registration fee for each new entry.
