Barakat offers one master's studentship to cover one year’s fees for a Muslim student who is already accepted by the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University of Oxford to read for an M. St or MPhil in Islamic Art and Architecture.

Eligibility criteria
You should follow the following criteria:
- The scholarship is for a Muslim student already accepted by the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University of Oxford to read for an M. St or MPhil in Islamic Art and Architecture.
- Renewal for the second year of the MPhil may be granted to candidates who perform well in the qualifying examination.
- The grant may not be extended to cover doctoral studies.
- Applications not supported by two referees before the deadline will not be accepted.
