Opportunity description
TBC is a non-profit group, with donations made to literary causes. The competition is open to anyone over the age of 17 years. There are special prizes, sponsored by the University of Bedfordshire, for writers aged 17-25 yrs. In addition, there are prizes for local Bedford residents.
Short Story Competition:
Word Count: up to 3000 words
Judge: Liv Maidment.
Poetry Competition:
Length: up to 40 lines
Judge: Jessica Mookherjee
Prizes: £1500, £300 and £200
Entry fees: £8.50 or 3 for £17. Students, £6 or 3 for £12.
