The United Nations Volunteers programme is seeking a research specialist to assist in executing a research project related to behavioral sciences. The volunteer will be tasked with analyzing UN entities' needs for integrating behavioral sciences and identifying opportunities for collaboration in this domain.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing UN Entity needs for integrating behavioral science and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
- Sourcing and reviewing examples of behavioral science applications and strategic plans within the UN and beyond to extract good practices and lessons learned.
- Engaging with stakeholders within the Entity and the UN Behavioral Science Group to enhance the application of behavioral science, incorporating insights from research into the final report.
Duties & responsibilities
- Certificate of appreciation from the United Nations Volunteers upon successful completion.
Eligibility criteria
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Experience in applying behavioral sciences.
- A degree in a related field is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in English at a professional working level.
