Join UNICEF Pakistan as a National Volunteer to support the Climate, Energy, and Environment program in Islamabad. You will participate in knowledge management, evidence generation, youth engagement support, and climate policy analysis to enhance project sustainability and protect children’s rights. This full-time opportunity involves working on field projects, preparing technical reports, monitoring climate finance, and contributing within a multidisciplinary team to achieve SDG 13 – Climate Action.
Key Responsibilities
- Support knowledge management and evidence generation for the Climate Change, Energy & Environment program.
- Develop communication materials about the program, documenting lessons learned.
- Compose technical papers on various climate change activities and detailed project descriptions.
- Coordinate with the Ministry of Climate Change for youth advocacy and engagement activities.
- Conduct field visits for data collection to drive knowledge production.

Duties & responsibilities
- Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance: PKR 183,920
- Comprehensive health insurance for employee and up to three dependents.

Eligibility criteria
- Master's degree in relevant fields like water resource management, social science, or economic development.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in energy and environment fields.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in child rights advocacy and gender equality programs.
