Climate Trackers invites all reporters all over the world to a 6-month paid fellowship opportunity. It is on the lookout for a group of globally diverse solutions about the amazing projects/initiatives with a climate solutions background. As a fellow, you’ll be writing and publishing powerful sustainability stories focused on local solutions in your country/region. As well as produce stories that will tell the world about untold local successes. You will be should focus on nature-based solutions, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and energy transition as well as projects led by indigenous peoples and so on.

If you get this fellowship, you will have:
- Mentorship with the experienced environment and solution reporters.
- Training and mentoring to produce one story every month for 6 months.
- $165 USD per month stipend during the duration of the fellowship.
- Gain hands-on experience in reporting on climate change and sustainability issues and publishing on both Climate Tracker and One Earth websites.
- Get your story’s projects in front of the potential funders.
- Selected stories will be added to One Earth’s Project Marketplace platform, where it may receive international funding support.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- 1 year of journalism/professional writing experience min.
- A hunger to improve as a solution reporter.
- Can be from an NGO background and looking to learn more about reporting and communication.
- A history of writing and working around communications.
- A clear understanding of quality grassroots initiatives in your country and region.
- Ability to take good quality photos.
- Working understanding and knowledge of the English language.

Climate Tracker(CT) is an international non-profit organization, aiming to support, train and incentivize better climate journalism globally. It believes in the power of journalism, but recognize that many young journalists don’t have the training, resources, or support to identify and tell the climate stories they want to. For that, it provides training and fellowships for young journalists around the world to tell better climate stories locally.
