Coro is offering Fellowship in Public Affairs for applicants from all over the world.
Evaluation Criteria:
Fellows classes are selected from among the finalists based on numerous factors, including:
- Skills and abilities of the individual
- Diversity of experiences and perspectives among class members
- Ability of Fellows to learn from and work with each other
- Regional leadership needs; and others.
Fellowship Time Line:
- Application deadline: January 11, 2022
- Selection Day finalists notified: Early Feb. 2022
- Selection Days in New York: March 2022
- Final selection notifications: April 2022
- Coro Fellows Program begins: Aug ./Sept. 2022
- Fellows Program graduation ceremony: May/June 2023
Eligibility criteria
- Ideal candidates are curious and ambitious – open to being challenged and excited to collaborate with others across differences.
- They are self-defined change-makers and leaders in their communities, committed to taking on big issues and willing to adapt in order to make a difference.

- Transcripts from all post-secondary academic institutions you have attended (unofficial transcripts are accepted)
Video:
- Record a video of yourself explaining how your participation in the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs will equip you to realize your leadership or professional aspirations.
- You should be the only person in the video, and the video shouldn’t contain edits or additional effects.
- Only the first 60 seconds of the video will be considered.
Essay 1 (500 word limit):
- What significant personal and/or professional factors have most informed your present outlook?
- How do these impact your relationship to your community or communities?
Essay 2 (500 word limit):
- Briefly describe a high stakes situation in which you exercised leadership.
- What was your role, what did you do that had an impact on the success or failure of the group, and what did you learn about yourself?
- How does this reflect your approach to leadership?
