Opportunity description

In collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), a limited number of scholarships are available for the M.Sc. Agricultural Economics at the University of Hohenheim under the special initiative "Development-Related Postgraduate Courses" (EPOS). Please refer to the official webpage for up-to-date requirements and application procedures.

Through the EPOS scholarships, DAAD supports excellent candidates from developing countries who have a strong academic and professional background. Scholarship recipients typically have work experience in a public authority, state institution, and/or a private company in a developing country and, therefore, have been engaged in planning and executing directives and projects with a focus on development policies relating to technology, economics, and/or social impact.

The DAAD EPOS scholarship covers the tuition fees for the 2-year Agricultural Economics Master’s program, health insurance, a monthly living stipend, travel costs to and from Germany, and research expenses (see EPOS webpage for details). Additionally, an integral part of the DAAD EPOS initiative is an intensive German language course from August to September at a language center in Germany, prior to starting the Master’s program.
