Eligibility criteria
- Applicants from all countries are eligible to apply for these scholarships in Turkey.
- Master’s programs are conducted in English, while doctoral programs are available in both English and Turkish; thus, proof of English proficiency is mandatory.
- If applicants do not possess a valid English language qualification that meets EMU’s requirements, their proficiency level will be assessed through a test administered by EMU.
- Those applying for doctoral programs must hold a master's degree.
- Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of 300 out of 400 or an equivalent.
- Additionally, departments will assess applicants based on their specific evaluation criteria, which include factors beyond the cumulative GPA.
- International students can apply for scholarships covering 100% and 50% for doctoral programs and a 50% scholarship for master’s programs.
- Similarly, Turkish citizens can apply for scholarships covering 100% and 50% of master’s and doctoral programs.
- Students enrolled as special or visiting students are not eligible for the EMU scholarship in Turkey.
