Opportunity description
UNV offers an online volunteer opportunity and announces its need for the efforts of 2 volunteers for 4 weeks to work in English to French translation of 2 Nature for Development case studies. Equator Prize-translated case studies help conduct more effective multi-stakeholder dialogues to accelerate forest action.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Help to translate 2 case studies of around 15 pages each from English to French, and to help proofread the translation.
Please note:
- The case studies will be emailed to the selected Online Volunteers.
- One online Volunteer will be selected to conduct the translation, and one to proofread.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Professional experience with translation whose mother tongue is French.
- General understanding of global development and environmental issues.
- Fluent in the English language.
- French, Level: Mother tongue.
- Ability to work 16-20 hours per week.
