The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) program is seeking online volunteer support to translate some of its materials from English to proper Arabic to be shared on its social media accounts. This volunteering will take place for 6 weeks, 6 - 10 h/ per week, through which you will mainly work to help in reaching and engaging with Arabic-speaking audiences and better communicate UNV's mission and work.
Duties & responsibilities
As an Online Volunteer, you will be responsible for
- Assisting in translating social media posts and communications materials from English to proper Arabic.
- Helping to reach and engage with Arabic-speaking audiences and better communicate UN Volunteers' mission and work.
- Translating around 10-15 materials, including social media posts promoting events, campaigns, and initiatives, email newsletters, updates to the community of supporters, and website content.

Eligibility criteria
You should follow the following criteria:
- Candidates should be native in Arabic and fluent in English.
- Previous translation experience.
- Program Duration: 6 weeks.
- Familiarity with technical terms related to volunteering will be considered an advantage.
