Film Contest for Filmmakers from the Festival Film Bahari

Festival Film Bahari 2022 is now available for all filmmakers all over the world to participate with their films and win valuable awards. Festival Film Bahari is designed to give insight and knowledge all about coastal culture and sea life through films. 

About the Festival:-

• Festival Film Bahari creates several programs aimed to capture and raise awareness of the coastal environment. 
• Festival Film Bahari is also a youth-based film festival that offers young filmmakers a chance to enhance their critical thinking skills, showcase their work to a captive audience, and engage experienced learning with local communities.
• August 2022 is the fifth year of this festival to be held, located in a small fisherman village, Cirebon City, West Java, Indonesia. 
• The guests and participants are invited to stay in the village houses, experiencing themselves in daily coastal life.

Film Categories:-

• Bahari
• Short films that have strong storytelling about sea or coastal life.
• Bineka
• Short films that have strong storytelling about diversity or tolerance.

• Festival Film Bahari gives non-monetary awards for the winners of the two categories Bahari and Bineka. 
• Selected films will be awarded digital certificates and laurels.

• Festival Film Bahari official selection is a Non- Competition Program for worldwide filmmakers, prepared with Indonesia subs and scheduled for live screenings. 
• Please be aware that most of the festival’s programs are free & open for the public . 
• The duration of the films is a maximum of 20 minutes including credit title. 
• All film genres accepted.
• Only selected films with signed permission waiver will be screened in Festival Film Bahari 5.
