The American University of Beirut in collaboration between Yale University, the University of Iowa, and the National Institutes of Health is offering one full scholarship for a Ph.D. in Epidemiology for one Student from Egypt and Three full Fellowship Training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine for Students from Egypt, Lebanon, and Sudan.
In addition, students will spend 3-6 months of research and clinical training at Yale University and the University of Iowa in the United States.

Eligibility criteria
- Evidence of high interest in environmental and occupational health (EOH) (for PhD and MS/Fellowship applicants).
- A strong record and interest in population health research (for PhD applicants).
- The PhD opportunity is limited to one candidate from Egypt.
- The MS | OEM Fellowship opportunity is limited to one from Lebanon, one from Egypt, and one from Sudan.
- Applications are limited to these three nationalities only.
- Accepted candidates will join the programs (starting August 2023).
