Opportunity description
LUISS University in Italy is offering a number of fully and partially funded scholarships to students joining the Rome Masters in Economics (RoME) -a challenging, two-year graduate course (Laurea Magistrale), entirely taught in English, designed for a small group of selected students with high drive and potential.
RoME program gives students the tools to start pursuing high-quality independent research and offers students a gateway to PhD programs in the world’s leading universities, or the foundation for a career as a professional economist in private and public institutions.
Benefits
Up to eight students will receive a two-year, full-scholarship, each year consisting of 10,000 euro as a stipend and the university fees waiver. In addition, up to two students will receive a two-year partial scholarship, each year consisting of the university fees waiver. The scholarships will be awarded based on merit, though parental income and residence considerations will be taken into account.
Other students may be admitted to RoME without funding.
In the Summer of the first year, interested students are offered internship opportunities with consulting firms, policy institutions, and large private firms.
Eligibility criteria
To remain in the program, RoME students should maintain a GPA above 24/30 at the end of each semester; they should also accept and comply with an Honor Code, lest being excluded from the program.
Students who are not in the program and wish to apply for admission to RoME at a later stage must have complied with the code.
