Scholarship Overview

UN Women is seeking a National UN Volunteer (Expert level) to serve as an AAP Coordination Expert in Gaza, State of Palestine.

The role supports Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) mechanisms, including coordination of the Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) and inter-agency humanitarian engagement processes.

This is a full-time, onsite, long-term (9 months) assignment under the supervision of UN Women’s Gaza Sub-Office.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Lead national AAP Working Group coordination

    • Coordinate Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) operations

    • Provide technical oversight on AAP/CFM SOPs

    • Facilitate partner and stakeholder meetings

    • Consolidate reporting and documentation

    • Prepare analytical briefs and donor reports

    • Ensure quality data analysis from community feedback

Eligibility criteria

  • Age: 18–80 years

  • National UN Volunteer (must meet nationality condition below)

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, business administration, or related field

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience

  • Experience in coordination, humanitarian response, or project management

  • Experience in Gaza context (required)

  • Candidate must be: a national of Palestine or a legal resident or hold refugee status in the State of Palestine (This is a National UN Volunteer position.)
