The University of Oxford in the UK is offering Master’s scholarships to refugees from Iraq, Syria, Palestine and Yemen who are accepted into a one-year full-time master’s program or a two-year part-time master’s course at Oxford University. The scholarship is funded by donations from students, colleges, external donors, and the central University.
Benefits
The scholarship covers course fees and provides a grant for living costs.
Eligibility criteria
- Hold an offer to commence a master’s degree at the University of Oxford in 2022/23 for a one-year full-time course or two-year part-time course.
- Have been displaced within, or beyond, their home country due to conflict or violation of human rights, such as persecution. Further details will be published at the start of the application process for this scholarship.
- Face barriers to progressing their education and have limitations on the financial support for their university studies.
- Have not previously completed a degree at the same level (master’s) for which they are making an application.
- This scholarship is not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers for 2022-23.
