Future For Nature supports young, talented and ambitious conservationists committed to protecting species of wild animals and plants. The commitment of these individuals is what will make the difference for our planet’s biodiversity and the future of nature. Through their leadership they inspire and mobilize communities, organizations, governments, investors and the public at large.

Benefits of Nature Awards

  • Each year, FFN awards three young, talented, and ambitious nature conservationists with the FFN Awards.
  • This award provides the winners with international recognition, €50,000 for their nature conservation work.
  • Winners will present their work at the Future for Nature Awards event at Royal Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Future for Nature Foundation.

Eligibility criteria

  • The candidate must be an individual, not an organization or group of individuals.
  • Must be born on or after May 31, 1991, and before August 31, 2007.
  • Substantial long-term benefits to the conservation status of one or more wild species.
  • Demonstrated commitment in conservation work.
  • Display leadership, entrepreneurship, and vision in conservation work.
  • Innovative and creative in their work.
  • Proficient in English in explaining their conservation work.
