Gaza Reconstruction Tools Hackathon

The "Gaza Reconstruction Tools Hackathon" marks the beginning of a long journey toward recovery and renewal by creating comprehensive and sustainable future plans that address both housing needs and concerns related to the displacement of homeless people. This effort involves using data analytics, developing effective planning strategies, and proposing new or improved building methods and tools that support living conditions in Gaza and provide flexible solutions that adapt to future changes.

Hackathon Goals:

The Gaza Reconstruction Tools Hackathon aims to achieve the following goals through its diverse and rich gathering of various experts:

Eligibility criteria

  • Participants must be over 20 years old.
  • They should be able to express their ideas clearly and work without communication barriers.
  • Participants must be prepared to work within teams and collaborate with other participants.
  • They need to be ready to share their ideas and results with entities interested in implementing these solutions.
  • Participants must commit to attending and actively participating throughout the one-week duration of the hackathon.
