Workshop for Social Entrepreneurs from Ashoka

Ashoka is pleased to announce the Get WISER Summit events which run annually to spotlight and celebrate the women responsible for impactful systems change—social entrepreneurs. This workshop will be launched On May 24th-26th, in which key players from the social entrepreneurship ecosystem will discuss how to redefine success to include the unique ways women lead social impact.

Participation in this workshop provides the opportunity to:

• honor the girls and women embodying the Everyone a Changemaker (EACH) movement and leading transformative systems change.
• elevate the number, knowledge, and power of women social entrepreneurs in Ashoka’s network. 
• deconstruction of structural barriers and limiting definitions of success that impede girls and women from recognition and advancement.
• hold space for women to celebrate their success, reflect, and tell their personal stories in their own words and languages.

• This session will serve as a call for stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem to understand and share the WISE theory of change.

• In this session, you will delve into Her Royal Highness’ unique insights into making an impact, the challenges she has overcome in her work, and her vision for a region, an ecosystem, and a world that celebrate the impact led by women's social entrepreneurs.
• Fireside Chat with Bill Drayton:
• In this closing session of the Get WISER Summit, there is a conversation that will explore synergies between the Everyone a Changemaker and WISE movements that can be leveraged to counter the new inequality.
