The Global Markets, Local Creativities – GLOCAL program is accepting applications for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) Scholarship for the cohort beginning their studies in September 2027.
GLOCAL is an integrated two-year international Master’s program focusing on global markets, economics, business, development, policy, creative industries, and entrepreneurship, combining both global and local perspectives.
The program is delivered by a consortium of 7 international universities, with students studying at 3 partner universities depending on their chosen study track. It also provides opportunities for practical training and networking with public- and private-sector organizations, alongside an international academic and cultural experience.

The Erasmus Mundus GLOCAL Scholarship provides selected students with:
Full tuition fee coverage, including the program’s required deposit/reservation fee.
Full insurance coverage.
A monthly living allowance throughout the duration of the program.
The possibility of receiving an advance contribution to help cover travel, visa, residence permit, relocation, and temporary accommodation costs.
The opportunity to study for two years across multiple universities and countries as part of an international joint program.
The opportunity to earn joint or multiple degrees, depending on the selected study track.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent international university qualification before the start of the program.
The applicant’s academic background must be compatible with the requirements of the selected GLOCAL study track.
Applications are open to students of all nationalities worldwide, including applicants from all Arab countries.
Applicants must meet the program’s English language proficiency requirements, unless they qualify for an exemption under the university’s regulations.
A complete application, including all required academic documents and supporting materials, must be submitted before the deadline.
Applicants must submit a strong Personal Statement explaining their motivation, academic background, and suitability for the program.
The required letters of recommendation must be provided as part of the admission application.
Applicants may select only one GLOCAL study track when applying.
Applicants must not have previously received an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) Scholarship.
There is no age limit for applying to the program.
Scholarship applicants must receive a conditional or unconditional offer of admission from the University of Glasgow in order to be considered for funding. An application that remains pending due to outstanding documents is not sufficient for scholarship consideration.
