Opportunity description
UNV announces its need for the efforts of one volunteer for 12 weeks to provide graphic design support to the YouthConnekt, focusing on creating posters, designing visuals for documents, creating animations, editing videos, and designing content for social media platforms.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Poster and Document Design: Crafting captivating posters that effectively convey YouthConnekt's messages, events, campaigns, or initiatives.
- Close collaboration with the program coordinator will ensure a clear understanding of project requirements, target audience, and desired messaging.
- While maintaining adherence to UNDP and YouthConnekt brand guidelines, you will infuse your designs with creativity and originality.
- Video Creation: Edit videos, create video clips for social media, and create animations.
- Contribute to the creation of engaging visual content for the social media platforms. This includes designing graphics, infographics, animations, brochures, business cards, cover photos, and other assets aligned with the social media plan.
- As part of your responsibilities, you will create 10-15 captivating posters and develop 5 engaging visual content pieces to enhance the online presence and effectively communicate the organization's objectives.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop/Canva to create and manipulate graphics, edit images, and design visual content effectively.
- Knowledge and experience in Adobe Illustrator or Canva.
- Be adept at creating vector graphics, illustrations, and designs using Adobe Illustrator or utilizing Canvas tools to produce high-quality visual content.
- English, Level: Working knowledge.
- Ability to work 11 - 15 hours per week.
