Opportunity description
One Young World, in collaboration with IKEA Social Entrepreneurship, invites young social entrepreneurs to apply for the IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Scholarship for the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany. This scholarship is designed for social entrepreneurs focusing on sustainable futures, emphasizing poverty reduction, inclusion, and fighting inequality.
Attendees will have the chance to interact with global sustainability leaders and form valuable connections. Membership in the One Young World Ambassador community offers lasting networking opportunities, connecting over 20,000 activists, humanitarians, world leaders, and entrepreneurs globally.
Benefits
- Full access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich from 3 – 6 November.
- Return air travel from your home country to Munich (economy class flights only).
- Hotel accommodations in a private room in Munich, checking in on 2 November and checking out on 7 November.
- Catering that includes: breakfast and dinner on 3 November, all meals from 4-6 November, and breakfast only on 7 November.
- Lifelong membership within the One Young World Ambassador Community.
- Letters of invitation from One Young World to support a Schengen visa application, if required.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be aged between 18 – 30.
- Must be the founder or co-founder of a social business/enterprise.
- Must operate in Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Romania or Sweden.
- Ability to communicate and engage in English.
- Actively engaged as an entrepreneur in fields such as inclusive circularity, inclusive employment, and inclusive agriculture and food.
- Show commitment to creating a positive impact through social entrepreneurship.
- Proven leadership ability within their communities.
- Demonstrable concern for local and/or global issues.
- Nationals of all countries are eligible to apply.
