Duties & responsibilities
Develop and implement the communications strategy for UNFPA PNG's GBV-funded programs, focusing on digital communication and advocacy.
Create visually engaging materials (newsletters, fact sheets, brochures, infographics) for social media, websites, and print.
Capture comprehensive, high-quality photo and video coverage of field activities and maintain a high-resolution media archive with consent forms.
Produce diverse media formats, including short documentaries, interviews, and animations.
Maintain social media platforms and the country office website to enhance UNFPA’s visibility.
Support the design of reports, presentations, and donor communication materials in alignment with branding strategies.
Eligibility criteria
Must be a national of a country OTHER than Papua New Guinea (Strict International assignment rule).
Hold a Master's degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related area (A Bachelor's degree with relevant experience is accepted).
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in communication and creative design, preferably in a development context.
Fluent in English (Required).
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere) and web design software.
Excellent photography, video editing, and drafting skills.
Ability to live and work in a challenging security environment with a mature level of cultural awareness.
