Eligibility criteria
- Architects, designers, planners, students and participants passionate about sustainably revitalizing the countryside can apply for this opportunity.
- Entry should leverage the cultural and historical resources of Shanxiabao Village to create a space that promotes cultural exchange and heritage preservation, while promoting the development of local handicraft industries and sustainable tourism.
- The competition accepts architectural projects of various types, including single-family residences, multi-unit buildings, public structures, adaptive structures, or any other type of architecture.
- There are no restrictions on the design process or construction techniques participating in the competition.
- The proposed designs must be selected within the designated area and their relationship with the surrounding environment must be taken into account.
- Your participation must respect local culture and architecture, and integrate modern technology with rural history and culture.
- Registration fees range from $89 to $129.
