ISCA International Film Festival for Student Filmmakers in Japan and a Chance to Win Cash Prizes

Film Free Way invites student filmmakers from all over the world to participate in the ISCA International Festival, which will take place on January 21-22, 2022. All entries are carefully nominated and selected by prominent professional judges in order to keep the quality of works at a level suitable to the award overall. Winners will be invited to our award ceremony held in Osaka, Japan. Return flight tickets and 3 nights’ accommodations are offered to each finalist.

• Grand Prize:(1 winner) 300,000 JPY and a trophy
• 1st Prize: (2 winners) 100,000 JPY and a trophy
• 2nd Prize: (3 winners) Miscellaneous prize and a trophy

• This is open to students at university, graduate school, junior college, and vocational school around the world.
• Your films must have been completed later than January 1st, 2020.
• Students who already graduated from school in 2021 can also submit the works created while they were studying at schools.
• All non-English language films must be subtitled in English.
• The title and creator‘s name must be inserted at the beginning of the video.
• Format: Must be submitted in “mp4” format.
• Duration: 20 minutes maximum.
• File Size: 2GB maximum.
• All submitted works must be original.
• Every applicant may submit more than one video.
• Submitted works will not be returned.
• Entrants must consent to the use of entries at the Contest.
• Each entry must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person and must not violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity.
• Any entry that offends public order and morals will be rejected.
• The Organizer takes no responsibility for any data loss, hardware malfunction, or damages from unforeseen circumstances. (It is highly recommended for entrants to keep backup copy/data.)
• Applicants are responsible for any submissions that infringe on any third party's copyrights.
• The entrants must accept full responsibility for any compensation for damages to the third parties, the Organizer and associates have nothing to do with its responsibility.
• Note: These provisions apply to the total content used in the entry including video images, voices, music, photographs, designs, etc.
• Any infringement is found after the award the sponsor can deprive the prize and can order the return of the trophy and reimbursement of prize money.
