Opportunity description
This annual scholarship provides USD 1,250 to an undergraduate or graduate student from an accredited institution to conduct excavation work and/or research in Jordan in collaboration with the American Society of Overseas Research (ASOR) or the Excavation and Advanced Studies Program (CAP). The scholarship aims to help cover travel and accommodation costs in Jordan, as needed.
Eligibility criteria
- You must be a student at an accredited educational institution.
- The excavation or research project must be in Jordan and affiliated with the American Society of Overseas Research (ASOR) or the Excavation and Advanced Studies Program (CAP).
- The project must be approved and accepted by the project supervisor or an academic institution.
- The scholarship is not restricted by nationality; as long as you are a student at an accredited institution and have a research or excavation project in Jordan, you may apply.
- One letter of recommendation is required.
- Submission of a research project proposal is required.
- A copy of academic transcripts is required.
