Opportunity description
The MUTA Education Committee is excited to invite applications for the 2026 MUTA Education Scholarship Program. This prestigious scholarship, awarded on a merit basis, is accessible to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), medicine, or allied medical programs. Each selected recipient will come from one of the 14 Tiv-speaking Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Benue State, or from Taraba and Nasarawa States.

Benefits
- Up to 16 scholarships will be awarded for the 2026/2027 academic year.
- The scholarship covers tuition fees, research expenses, or other costs related to university studies.

Eligibility criteria
- Submit the application and provide all required documents by the deadline.
- Maintain the required CGPA or higher.
- Other nationalities or residents outside Nigeria are not eligible.
- Participate in community service to help enhance engagement within your academic and local community.
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program in STEM fields, medicine, or related medical disciplines.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 5.0 or 3.0 out of 4.0 is required.
