UPWARD Gallery announces an online art competition for flower-focused artwork.
Benefits
If you are among the winners, you will receive many prizes and benefits:
- Obtain an electronic certificate.
- Appreciation awards, honorary awards.
- Winners are interviewed by UPWARD Gallery editors for publication in UPWARD's Quarterly print edition and on the website in the Interviews section, as well as in curated exhibitions on the site in the Discover section.
- Promotion via social media (Instagram).
- All participants will also receive electronic certificates based on the results of the competition.
- The exhibition winners (first, second, third place) will be able to participate for free with two artworks in the upcoming exhibition.
- Each exhibition participant will receive a personal page on UPWARD Gallery. This page will display the works submitted by the artist to participate in the exhibition, a short text of the artist’s biography, a link to the artist’s website, as well as links to his social media accounts, and a personal interview with the artist.
Eligibility criteria
- All artists aged 18 and over can apply for this competition.
- Acceptable media include all traditional art media (such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, mixed media, and ink; and drawing media such as graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and markers). Digital painting, arts and crafts (beading, pottery, embroidery, flowers, batik, stained glass, 2D collage, and also fabric arts).
- Works containing profanity cannot be submitted to this competition.
- Political artworks cannot be submitted to this competition.
- The application fee for this competition is:
- $12 per one entry.
- $10 if you participate with 2 to 4 entries.
- $9 if you participate with 5 works or more.
- Age groups that can participate:
- The first age category is for artists aged 18 to 21 years.
- The second age category is for artists over 22 years old.
