Opportunity description
UNV offers an online volunteer opportunity to create social media content for Youth Co. The Youth Co-Lab program, co-established by UNDP and the Citi Foundation in 2017, aims to set a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in the youth.
Duties & responsibilities
- You will be responsible for creating content for the social media pages of Marah - Roots of the Soul, a social enterprise under the Youth Co:Lab portfolio in order to increase its reach. The Marah Project aims to provide sustainable livelihoods to women in rural communities in India, primarily encouraging them to work with available bio-resources to create environmentally friendly products.
- You will provide strategic guidance on how to market Marah's services, and create and curate interesting content for their Facebook page and website.
- Your duties will include creating content for social media posts and posters as well as developing and implementing two social media content posts per week.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Previous experience in campaigns and strategy development.
- Good knowledge of online marketing tools and different marketing channels.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience designing outreach/marketing tools.
- It is preferable to have a passion for entrepreneurship.
- Working knowledge of English.
