Online Volunteer Opportunity for North African and Middle Easterns for the UN: Voice Acting in Arabic for an online ToT Course

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is offering a volunteer opportunity for Arabic speakers to do a Voice Acting in (North African and Middle East) Arabic for an online ToT Course. United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is a training arm of the UN system with a mandate related to building capacities for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through outcome-based training and learning initiatives.

Background and Objectives:-

• The Division for Peace strives to support the (re-)establishment of peaceful, just and inclusive societies by enabling individuals, institutions and organizations to contribute meaningfully to sustainable peace. 
• As part of UNITAR'S commitments to advance the role of women in peace processes, this specific project is aimed at empowering members of the FemWise-Africa Network as Ambassadors for peace and security through targeted capacity building offers, including online courses.

• The volunteers will be asked to produce voice recordings of very high quality to support our online Training of trainers course.
• UNITAR will send the volunteers a word document with the texts that need to be recorded, including the information on the context and tone it is going for.
• UNITAR will also advise on online free software that the volunteer could use and provide a technical How-To guide for the recording of the audios on the software.
• The volunteers would then record these texts and send the mp3 files to UNITAR.

• The volunteers need to be North African and Middle East native speakers and they should have prior experience in voice acting. 
• Furthermore, the volunteers are required to possess or have access to a computer with a good internal microphone as well as good internet connectivity to ensure the recording of good quality audios.
• You will need to work 1-5 hours per week for 1 week.
• This opportunity requires 2 volunteers.
