Opportunity description
UNV offers an online volunteering opportunity to support the process of finding, identifying and mapping private sector donors.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Identify, research and map private sector donors, with a particular focus on their environmental and social commitments and related programs.
- Provide recommendations on effective communication and relationship building techniques, tailored to ESG principles.
- Strengthening partnerships that drive sustainable development initiatives around the world.
- Submit a 5-page report on fundraising strategies, including mapping donor interests, priorities, and funding sources.
- You will not be required to solicit donations/funds from third parties for this task.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Background in business, marketing, development studies, international relations or any related field.
- Experience in ESG engagements and/or familiarity with ESG commitments, methodologies and programs within the private sector.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Commitment to the principles and values of the United Nations.
- Good level of English.
