The United Nations Volunteers Program is offering an online volunteering opportunity to map organizations for Persons with Disabilities (PwD). The United Nations Volunteers Program contributes to peace and development through volunteer work around the world. The program works with its various partners to integrate qualified UN Volunteers into various development programs in order to enhance the value of volunteering and its global recognition.
Duties & responsibilities
You will play an important role in gathering various information about organizations for people with disabilities (PwD) in Tunisia, and you will help in the following:
- Conduct an online search to locate a variety of organizations for people with disabilities (PwD) across Tunisia.
- Prepare a list of organizations of persons with disabilities, including their names, email addresses, and other relevant contact information.
- Ensure the accuracy and validity of the collected data.
- Reports preparation.
- Present the collected data and results in a clear and structured manner, with a brief description of the mission and goals of each organization.
- You must provide by the end of this assignment an updated and accurate list of relevant PWD organizations operating in Tunisia along with their exact contact details.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Internet research skills.
- The ability to collect information efficiently from various sources and databases.
- Attention to detail in order to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Communication and writing skills in order to present data and results in a clear and organized manner.
- Fluency in the Arabic language to be able to navigate various data sources and local websites.
- It is preferred that you are fluent in English.
- Please note that this opportunity is an online volunteering opportunity, and the volunteer is not considered a United Nations Volunteer and will not receive any allowances or rewards, but will receive a certificate of appreciation after successful completion.
