Opportunity description
The United Nations Volunteers Foundation is offering an online volunteering opportunity to design a one-minute video animation containing a combination of numbers and pictures about categories of volunteers. This opportunity will extend for two weeks at a rate of 6 to 10 hours per week. You will work under the supervision and direction of the Regional Communications Officer and in close collaboration with the Corporate Communications team.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Collect information on document/material background such as text lines to be used, basic numbers, pictures of people, design style, branding guidelines, etc.
- Create a draft designed video [animated presentation with numbers and pictures] based on requirements and discuss with the focal point/communications team.
- Develop the final material according to the agreed requirements.
- The design/layout should follow the corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.
Eligibility criteria
- You should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Working knowledge of English.
