Opportunity description
UNV offers two online volunteer opportunities to support the program's visual designs. You will design media outreach materials for publications, website and other digital media with the aim of promoting awareness and respect for the work of the Mission and its mandate. You will be responsible for graphic designs for various mission modules, the website, magazine and other mission-related supporting activities.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Producing twenty (20) designs for print and electronic media campaigns.
- Gather sufficient information about the background of documents/materials such as target audience, design style, brand guidelines, etc.
- Create a draft of about 20 designs based on requirements and discuss them with the communications team.
- Develop designs according to agreed requirements.
- The design must follow the organization's design guidelines which will be shared with volunteers online in advance.
- You will have the opportunity to build relationships with the UNISFA Media Office and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support UNISFA activities.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Professional experience in the field of graphic design.
- Previous experience designing document layouts.
- In-depth knowledge of graphic design applications.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree in graphic design or any related field.
- It is preferable that you be proficient in the English language.
