UNV announces an online volunteer opportunity to design advocacy materials related to Women, Peace and Security (WPS).
Duties & responsibilities
- UNV is looking for 2 Online Volunteers who will support the program, under the guidance of the UN Women WPS Policy Advisor and in close collaboration with the Communications Team, in creating designs related to Women, Peace and Security (WPS) in the ECA region where they will produce:
- Three graphic designs for WPS.
- Organize the information to be provided by UN Women and develop an outline of support materials, based on UN Women's brand/dissemination guidelines.
- Create three design drafts based on the entity-specific requirements and discuss them with the contact and communications team at UN Women.
- Finalizing designs according to agreed requirements.
- The design/layout must follow the Authority's design guidelines which will be shared with volunteers online in advance.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Professional experience in the field of graphic design.
- Previous experience designing document layouts.
- In-depth knowledge of graphic design applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Degree in graphic design or any related field.
- Fluency in English.
- It is preferable to have a working knowledge of the Russian language.
