Opportunity description
The United Nations Volunteers program offers an online volunteer opportunity to design social media graphics. You will support UNICEF Tunisia's communications team in developing engaging and targeted social media content to advance the organization's goals.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Producing social media designs (infographics, post images, animated GIFs, etc.).
- Gather basic information on the materials required such as target audience, design style, brand guidelines, etc.
- Create ten (10) draft designs based on design requirements and then discuss them with the Digital Communications team.
- Developing the ten designs according to the agreed upon requirements.
- Designs must follow the organization's design guidelines which will be shared with volunteers online in advance.
- The online volunteer(s) will have the opportunity to build relationships with digital communications officers at UNICEF Tunisia and learn about ways graphic design can support the organization's communication goals.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Professional experience in graphic design, communications, or interactive digital media.
- Strong knowledge of graphic design applications and software.
- Good oral and written skills.
- Communication skills.
- Degree in graphic design, social media, or any related field.
- Fluent in French and Arabic.
- It is preferable to have a working knowledge of the English language.
