United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Conduct qualitative audit of UNEP websites.
Duration:
12 weeks / 16 - 20 hours
Duties & responsibilities
- Evaluate UNEP's websites and platforms for infrastructure compatibility.
- Review visual elements, making recommendations to ensure alignment with UNEP's brand guidelines.
- Conduct usability testing to identify improvements, page layout and user interface for optimal accessibility and engagement.
- Identify and define target audiences for each website/page, ensuring content and design align with their needs and expectations.
- Analyze content types and frequency of content/data updates.
- Develop a report with findings, recommendations and actions plans.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- Candidates should have advanced web design, development and auditing skills and proficiency in content management systems.
- Experience with knowledge platforms and online libraries and user experience design is required.
- Strong analytical and writing skills is required.
- A degree in information technology, web development, library science or mathematics will be an asset.
