United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Designing promotional material.
Duration:
8 weeks / 16 - 20 hours per week
Duties & responsibilities
- Designing the layout for the newsletter and brouchre in accordance with OHCHR communication guidelines and being customized to work with Outlook.
- Prepare the contents for the first pilot newsletter from existing stories, articles, and other communication materials and prepare content for the Centre’s digital space.
- Prepare a video compiling photos of the activities of the Centre throughout 2023.
- Adding subtitles for 2 videos.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- For the layout design:
- Proven experience in designing layouts for newsletters, brochures and videos.
- Ability to customize the design for Outlook.
- For content creation:
- Previous experience editing newsletters is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, journalism, or a relevant area.
- A good understanding of human rights is a plus.
