United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Developing Social Media Outreach plan for Lebanon Nature Reserves.
Duration:
8 weeks / 1 - 5 hours
Duties & responsibilities
- Collect information on document/material background such as data, design style, branding guidelines etc.
- Develop and support in the execution of an effective social media plan aligned with the nature reserve goals and target audience preferences.
- Leverage the latest trends and best practices to maximize reach, engagement, and brand visibility across social media platforms.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, utilizing analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Support in the management of the social media accounts (mainly Facebook and Instagram), including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and responding to customer inquiries and comments promptly and professionally.
- Create and maintain relevant and engaging content tailored to the nature reserve, utilizing a mix of text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- Candidates should have a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in social media management or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of the latest digital and social media industry trends, features, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to tailor messaging for different social media platforms and target audiences.
Languages:
- English, Level: Fluent, Required
